Resume Job Matcher ("we", "our", or "the extension") is designed with privacy as a priority. We do not store your personal data, resume, or job application details on our own servers.
The extension accesses your Google Sheets and Google Drive solely for the purpose of creating and updating a job tracking spreadsheet at your explicit request. This data is transmitted directly between your browser and the Google API. We do not read, use, or sell your Google user data for any other purpose.
Your resume text and job descriptions are sent to Google's Gemini API for analysis using your own personal API Key. This data is subject to Google's Generative AI terms of service but is not stored by us.
Your API key and resume text are stored locally within your browser's storage (`chrome.storage.local`) to persist your settings. You can clear this data at any time by uninstalling the extension or clearing extension data.
